Grigorist Temple of Satanael

Yibārak Šatana'il Glory to the 200 Long Live the Nephilim

A theistic Satanist religious organization devoted to Satanael (the Devil) and the 200 Watchers, the order of fallen angels who taught forbidden knowledge to mankind.

Satano-Grigorism

Satano-Grigorism is the religion of our Temple, an organized polytheistic belief system centered on the worship of Satanael and the Watchers. It is among the diverse group of religions collectively called Theistic Satanism.

Despite the fairly recent codification of its modern form, the ideas and events upon which Satano-Grigorism is founded are truly ancient. The story of the Watchers was known and told long before baby Jesus took his first breath, and human history at the time and place of Their descent is replete with traces of Their influence. While we cannot reconstruct the exact beliefs and practices of those who worshipped the Watchers in the ancient times following Their descent, the lens through which we view Them is shaped by the world in which They were first worshipped. This is the origin of many differences between Satano-Grigorism and other theistic Satanic religions, and it distinguishes the Satano-Grigorist understanding of the Watchers from those who interpret individual Watchers through a modern occult lens.

Satanael

The deity we call Satanael is the very same spirit falsely vilified by the Abrahamic religions and worshipped by other Satanists, who more commonly call Him “Satan” or “Lucifer.” We revere Him as a powerful god associated with freedom, pride, pleasure, knowledge, and the Virtues of the Self: self-love, self-respect, self-awareness, self-reliance, and self-determination.

The Watchers

The Watchers are not as well-known or as commonly worshipped as Satanael. They are an order of 200 fallen angels who, in ancient times, sought the help of Satanael to free Themselves; They subsequently rebelled against Yahweh, engaged in sexual unions with humans, and taught Their forbidden knowledge to mankind. Their relations with women gave rise to hybrid lineages of strong and beautiful people known as Nephilim, whose early generations were renowned among mankind for their incredible feats.

Some of Their teachings include writing, metallurgy, astronomy, navigation, weather forecasting, various forms of divination, spirit work techniques, defensive magic, agricultural innovations, herbalism, gem-cutting, the use of cosmetics, and the pharmaceutical arts. The Watchers’ impact on human civilization has been immense – our modern world is built upon Their gifts, and Their descendants still live today – yet They are now mostly forgotten.

Our religion recognizes Them as the great gods They are, the proud spirits who broke Their chains, lifted Themselves out of the pits of servitude, and fulfilled Their desires upon the earth as no angel had ever dared to do before.

Values & Philosophy

The values of Satano-Grigorism are generally oriented toward the elevation of the Self. In alignment with the virtues of Satanael Himself, we highly value self-love, self-awareness, self-determination, confidence, pride, knowledge, and pleasure; we look down upon excessive altruism, undue self-sacrifice, self-hatred, willful ignorance, and other forms of self-destructive behavior.

Organization

The Grigorist Temple of Satanael (GToS) provides the supporting structure of the Satano-Grigorist faith. Conversion to our religion requires admission into the Temple. Temple leaders mentor members in study and practice, organize and host weekly religious assemblies, lead group prayers, produce public and private resources, assist in spiritual protection, and manage Satano-Grigorist outreach.

Because Satano-Grigorism is a highly complex religion, its organized structure is very helpful; dedicated resources, community gatherings, and availability of official mentorship make it much easier to learn and follow.
